Privacy Policy

Overview

Grease Trap Log: Maintenance is designed as an offline-first recordkeeping tool for grease trap, grease interceptor and FOG maintenance records. This policy explains how the app handles data in the current public version.

Information You Enter

The app may store information that you choose to enter, including facility details, trap or interceptor details, maintenance logs, service provider names, invoice numbers, notes, signature names and report export records.

This information remains on your device unless you choose to export, share, email, save or otherwise transmit it outside the app.

Local Storage

Data is stored locally on your device by default. The app does not require a backend account and does not upload your records to SmallOps Labs servers. If device backup is enabled in iOS or iCloud settings, app data may be included in backups handled by Apple according to your device settings.

Photos and Receipts

The app may ask for photo library or camera access when you choose to attach receipt, invoice, before-service or after-service images to a maintenance log. These images are used only for the attachment workflow you initiate and are stored locally with your app records unless you choose to export or share them.

Reports, Exports and PC Manager

Generated PDF and CSV reports are created on your device and are shared only when you choose to save, export or send them through iOS sharing options.

The optional PC Manager feature can host a temporary local web dashboard from your iPhone while the app is open. It is intended for devices on the same local Wi-Fi network and requires the access code shown in the app. SmallOps Labs does not receive records through PC Manager.

Notifications

The app may request notification permission so it can schedule local maintenance reminders. You can manage notification permission in iOS Settings.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Subscription purchases, free trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Tracking and Analytics

The app does not include third-party advertising or tracking. If analytics, crash reporting or backend services are added later, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated.

Deleting Data

You can delete records and locally stored attachment files inside the app. Because data is stored locally by default, uninstalling the app also removes local app data from that device. Exported PDFs, CSV files or shared documents are controlled by the locations where you save or send them.
